Ubi Kayu Goreng

Usually i boiled the ubi kayu.My mom always made pengat with it.& sometimes she made other traditional kueh like tapai, kuih talam & bingka.She knew how to make kerepek ubi kayu either salty, spicy & even sweet kerepek ubi kayu since she used to worked in IKS industry making various kerepek for several years.But i've never ever eat fried ubi kayu.I only used to eat kerepek, apart of traditional kueh. I first saw it in bersamamu tv3 programme. The woman fried ubi kayu after mixed the ubi kayu with some salts & tumeric powder.My husband laughed at me when i said it was a wierd way to cook ubi kayu. Sorry,even thoughi'm used to ubi kayu (since my mom grew a lot of ubi kayu tree in my village), my mom never cook it like this.

Ubi Kayu Goreng
- My Husband's Recipe -

Bahan-bahan
Ubi kayu - dibuang kulit, dibersihkan & dipotong
Serbuk kunyit
Garam secukup rasa
Minyak

Cara-cara
1. Gaulkan ubi kayu dengan serbuk kunyit & garam.
2. Goreng dalam minyak yang panas hingga masak & kekuningan.

Ubi Kayu-Rebus smpai empuk
Bawang Kecil-2-3 Ulas
Garam-Secukup rasa
Minyak untuk mengoreng

Cara-cara
1- Potong nipis Ubi Kayu (yang dh empuk)
2-Hiris bawang kecil nipis-nipis
3- Gaul Ubi Kayu, bawang kecil, garam rata-rata
4-Goreng sehingga garing. Hidang



Ubi Kayu Goreng Berempah

Bahan-bahan ( - )
Ubi kayu
5 ulas bawang putih
7 ulas bawang merah
3 sudu makan udang kering
1 sudu kecil jintan putih
1/2 sudu kecil jintan manis
2 sudu kecil ketumbar
1 inchi kunyit hidup

Cara-cara
1. Ubi kayu direbus terlebih dahulu sehingga setengah empuk (jangan terlalu empuk nanti lembik ketika mengoreng).
2. Tos sehingga betul² kering.
3. Bawang putih, bawang merah, ketumbar, jintan, kunyit, udang kering dan garam ditumbuk sehingga lumat.
4. Kemudian gaulkan bahan yang ditumbuk tadi pada ubi kayu yang telah ditos tadi (gaul ketika suam agar rempah melekat pada ubi kayu)
5. Perap sekejab dan goreng hingga kekuningan.

*ubi kayu
*tepung goreng rangup
*8 ulas bawang putih-ditumbuk halus
*2 biji telur
*sedikit garam
*sedikit serbuk kari / serbuk kunyit

CARA MEMBUATNYA
*potong ubi kayu sama seperti kentang goreng
*bancuh tepung bersama telur,bawang putih yang di tumbuk halus
*masukkn sedikit garam dan sedikit serbuk kari/kunyit
*bancuhan tepung jgn terlalu cair
*masukkn ubi kayu yg siap dipotong ke dlm tepung gaul sebati
*kemudian goreng hingga betul-betul masak dan nampak rangup angkat dan hidangkn bersama sos.
