Saturday..i'm not working 2day & my husband can't come back 2day & tomorrow bcoz' he had to work on weekends. I understand bcoz' the project is reaching the dateline. As usual when i'm alone, i've no 'spirit' to cook or what-so-ever but still i've to eat. I looked into my freeze...there're fishes, prawns, chickens & veges, the stock my husband bought last tuesday b4 he went back to banting. Usually when he's home, he'll fill in the freeze with lots of groceries so that i don't have to go to the market anymore. He was such a good husband bcoz' when he came back, he'll go to the market early morning, alone. When i asked him why he didn't told me & took me along, he said he didn't want to trouble me by walking in the crowd at the uncomfortable area.
Back to the cooking story. I'm cooking the prawns today. Usually i cooked udang masak lemak or sambal udang, but today i'm thinking of making a difference; udang masak kasturi...limau kasturi pn byk lagi. Actually i bought that lime to squeeze in the 'budu' last weekend. Usually we used limau nipis but that day the shop was out of it...xde rotan, akar pn bguna.

Bahan-bahan Yang Perlu
10 ekor udang besar
5 biji cili merah
5 biji cili hijau
2 tomato merah
2 biji bawang besar
2 biji limau kasturi diambil airnya
2 tomato hijau secawan minyak masak garam secukup rasa
1/2 biji capsicum didadu (saja tambah, bukan dr resipi asal)
Cara memasaknya
1. Udang digaul dengan air limau dan garam, cili hijau, cili merah ditumbuk kasar, bawang dihiris tomato dibelah empat, panaskan minyak masukkan udang.
2. Setelah masak angkat udang.
3. Tumis bawang besar, agak masak kemudian masukan cili ditumbuk, gaul rata dengan api sederhana. Apabila naik minyak masukan udang yang sudah digoreng tadi. Gaul rata sebelum diangkat masukkan tomato dan hidangkan.

Bahan-Bahan:
1 kg udang galah
5 ulas bawang putih
5 ulas bawang merah
5 tangkai cili merah
5 tangkai cili merah
5 biji limau kasturi (dipotong empat)
1 sudu kecil serbuk kunyit
1 sudu kecil serbuk cili
Sedikit daun selasih
¼ cawan minyak masak
Garam secukup rasa
Cara:
Udang hendaklah dibelah belakang (sedikit) bersih dan dibuang kulitnya. Kemudian digoreng. Tumiskan bahan-bahan yang telah dihiris halus tadi sehingga baunya harum dan masukkan udang yang telah digoreng tadi. Akhir sekali masukkan serbuk kunyit, serbuk cili dan garam secukupnya. Bolehlah dihidangkan bersama perahan limau kasturi.
