Huh, kulit tembikai buat sup? I'm so surprised with the fact that watermelon skin can be made into soup. B4 this i read somewhere that instead of unripe papaya, we can use watermelon skin to make rojak. But this time, soup. I'll try it. Sometimes i was amazed by our oldfolks. They reused everything to cook.
Sup ikan bilis kulit tembikai
oleh: melati
Bahan-bahan ( 2 orang )
kulit tembikai
bawang merah
bawang putih
lada hitam
sedikit ikan bilis
garam
gula
serbuk perisa jika suka
sedikit minyak untuk menumis
Cara-cara
1. Buang kulit yang warna hijau dan potong kecik-kecik
2. tumbuk bawang merah, bawang putih serta lada hitam.
3. Tumis bahan tumbuk sehingga naik wangi. Masukkan air dan ikan bilis.
4. Bila dah mendidih, masukkan kulit tembikai, garam, gula dan perisa. Bila kulit tembikai dah lembut bolehlah padamkan api.
