Yesterday unexpectedly my fiance came home.I thought he just kidding when he said he want to come back.Even thought i failed to get through him b4 i left the office,but deep inside my heart i knew that he was on his way home as he didn't let his h/p unanswered.So,on my way home i bought some veggies (for me of course) & prawns.I've no actual idea what & how to cook at that time but i know he loves prawn & he kept on saying he was so bored eating the same dish everyday at the site;fish,egg (almost everday & everytime) & chicken.I only took 15 minutes to buy all the ingrediants as he'll arrive any time.
But wonder oh wonder,just as i arrived home,he arrived.& i haven't cook anything yet.Luckily he didn't complaint or got angry as he understand i just came back from work.With no idea what to cook,lastly he gave me some idea & as usual he cooked the prawn & as always i prepared all the ingrediants.So here is the dish....

Bahan-Bahan:
500 gm udang besar [bersihkan]
1 s/b kunyit
1 s/k garam
minyak
Bahan untuk sos:
5 ulas bawang merah (dimayang)
3 ulas bawang putih (dimayang)
1/2 cawan sos tomato
3 sudu besar sos cili
2 biji cili merah (dipotong nipis)
1/2 cawan air
1 biji tomato (belah 6)
1 pokok daun bawang & daun sup (potong pendek)
Garam dan gula secukup rasa
Cara:
1. Udang digaulkan dengan kunyit dan garam dan gorengkan sehingga masak. Angkat dan ketepikan.
2. Asingkan sedikit minyak dan panaskan minyak semula dan tumiskan bawang merah dan bawang putih.
3. Apabila wangi masukkan sos tomato, sos cili dan air.
4. Masukkan juga cili potong dan gula.
5. Setelah kuat pekat, masukkan duang dan gaulkan rata.
6. Hiaskan dgn daun sup & bawang dan hidangkan bersama nasi putih dan juga lauk lain
Bahan-Bahan:
600 g large prawns
oil for deep frying
2-3 tablespoons butter
5-10 birds's eye chillies, roughly chopped
10-15 sprigs curry leaves
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
½ teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon light soy sauce
½ teaspoon white vinegar
150 g Nestum original flavour cereal
Cara:
1. Remove heads from the prawns but leave on shells.
2. Slit dow the back to remove intestinal tract, trim feelers and legs and dry prawns thoroughly.
3. Heat the oil and deep fry the prawns.
4. Drain and put aside.
5. Melt the butter, and chillies, curry leaves, garlic and salt and fry for 2 minutes.
6. Add prawns, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and nestum.
7. Cook over high heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
8. Serve immediately.
We didin't cook these pepper prawn dishes yesterday due to lack of ingrediants but i was so pleased with the recipe & planned to cook it 'one day'.So for the safe side,i put them here for my future reference.
UDANG PEPPER
Bahan
500 gm udang size L - gaul garam n blackpepper or white pepper
3 ulas bawang putih - tumbuk / ketuk
3 biji cili merah tumbuk kasar
3 sudu teh jus limau kasturi/lemon
daun parsley
sedikit daun sup untuk hiasan - boleh hiris
Cara
1. Panaskan minyak, tumis kan bawang putih.
2. Masukkan cili tumbuk, udang, jus limau aksturi, kacau2 sehingga udang kemerah2an.
3. Masukkan daun sup
4. Hidangkan.
Bahan-bahan :
20 udang sederhana besar ~ dibuang kulit tetapi tidak ekornya
garam
lada hitam
halia ~ dihiris
bawang putih ~ dihiris
1/2 bawang besar ~ dihiris
cili merah dan hijau ~ dipotong panjang
Perisa :
1 sudu besar sos tiram
2 sudu besar sos lada hitam
1/2 sudu besar serbuk stok ayam
sedikit tepung jagung dibancuh dengan air ~ untuk memekatkan
Kaedah penyediaan :
1. Perapkan udang bersama garam dan lada hitam untuk sekurang-kurangnya 15 minit.
2. Gril atau gorengkan udang hingga masak. Ketepikan.
3. Panaskan sedikit minyak di dalam kuali dan masukkan bawang, bawang putih dan halia. Tumis hingga naik bau.
4. Masukkan sos tiram, sos lada hitam dan serbuk stok ayam. Kacau sebati.
5. Masukkan hirisan cili dan udang. Kacau rata.
6. Tuangkan bancuhan tepung jagung, rasakan perisanya dan sedia untuk dihidangkan.
We also cook this.Even though my fiance was so bored with egg but he changed his mind when i proposed this recipe bcoz' it included prawn & it was so simple.
Bahan :
5 biji telur
8 ekor udang, dikupas kulitnya dan potong kecil
garam secukup rasa
serbuk perasa jika suka
minyak untuk menggoreng
Bahan untuk kisar :
1 ulas bawang putih
1 biji bawang besar
2 batang cili merah
Cara membuat:
i.Campurkan telur, bahan yang telah dikisar, udang, garam dan serbuk perasa. Pukul dengan garpu sehingga ia sebati.
ii.Panaskan sedikit minyak dalam kuali non-stick dan goreng adunan telur seperti telur dadar sehingga ia masak. Angkat dan hidangkan.
& for the veggie (for me only),i cook this recipe.Today,it all about prawn.
Bahan
500 gm kobis manis [yg ada kelopak kijau muda sikit tu]
100 gm carrot [hiris kecil]
100 gm udang
sedikit air
minyak
garam
Bahan Tumis [hiriskan]
3 ulas bawang merah
1 ulas bawang putih
2 biji cili merah
Cara
1. Panaskan minyak dan tumiskan bahan tumis sehingga wangi..
2. Masukkan udang dan kacau sehingga masak.
3. Masukkan sayuran, air dan garam. Kacau rata.
4. Bila sayur telah layu tutup api.
5. Hidangkan.
& for the drink to quench his thirst,i made 'air bandung cincau',his favorite.
Bahan
1 tin susu pekat
2 liter air sejuk
pewarna merah
1 cawan cincau [cincang halus]
ais kiub
Cara
1. Bancuhkan susu dan air juga pewarna.
2. Masukkan dalam jug besar dan masukkan cincau. Kacau rata.
3. Masukkan ketulan ais dan hidangkan.
